Abstract:
Shaanxi DATANG SEED INDUSTRY Co., Ltd. was established in 2001, is a hybrid corn, wheat, vegetable seeds research and development, production, processing, sales for the integration of science and technology seed industry enterprises. The company consists of research and development, production, processing, sales, quality inspection, finance, administration and other departments.
Relying on the technology of Northwest Agricultural University, the company has established Yangling Datang Seed Industry R&D Center in Yangling International Demonstration Park, Jingyang Breeding Demonstration Center and Hainan Breeding Center. It also cooperates with colleges and research institutions such as Northwest A&F University, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences and so on.
On October 19, 2022, Zihui Liu, a doctoral student in the research group, led the master and doctoral students to Datang Seed Industry R&D Center for cooperation. The research team will seed dozens of wheat varieties or lines in Yangling Datang Seed Industry R&D Center, and these varieties and lines will be inspected by breeders together with other varieties in Datang Seed Industry R&D Center.
