Abstract:
Based on a comprehensive evaluation using multiple indicators, we selected the extreme 5% of accessions from each end of the population, specifically 19 saline-alkaline tolerant and 19 salt-sensitive accessions. Phenotypic data revealed highly significant differences between these two groups across all investigated traits, confirming the effectiveness of the selection.
