Abstract:
This research uses a genome-wide association study to reveal a unique adaptation strategy in Xinjiang spring wheat breeding. Here, the selection process bypasses the usual dwarfing genes and instead relies on new QTLs, particularly QPH-6A. This provides new genetic resources for breeding high-yield wheat varieties that are adapted to local conditions.
